For all the courses, candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (as per G.O. (P) No. 208/66/Edn. dated 2.5.1966, G.O.(MS) No.95/08/SCSTDD dated 06.10.2008 and amendments thereof), will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. They need only 45% marks in the case of Mathematics/Biology and 45% marks in the case of optional subjects put together.
The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
The relaxation of marks in the qualifying examination extended to SEBC candidates only will be applicable to OEC candidates even if they are allotted against the unavailed seats of SC/ST quota.
|Age: the Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2020. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit except for candidates under service quota. The upper age limit for candidates under service quota will be 46 years for B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc.(M.L.T) and B.Sc Optometry as on 31st December of that year. No relaxation of the minimum age will be allowed.|

|Step 3: Application Entry:- A registration ID will be provided to the candidate. Candidate should note this Registration Id and password which are required for future login. |Note: In case a candidate has studied more than one subject among Mathematics/Biology, the subject for which the candidate has scored the maximum marks among them will be considered as the third optional subject.|
Procedure for Normalisation:- The marks scored by the candidates in each subject in the Qualifying Examination conducted by various Boards will be made comparable with the marks obtained by the students in the same subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala.
|Example:-Let ‘X’ be the maximum mark secured out of 100 for a subject in the state Higher Secondary Board and ‘Y’ the maximum mark secured out of 100 for the same subject in any other stream AISSCE/ISC/VHSE. If ‘T’ is the mark secured out of 100 for the subject by a student of the other board (CBSE/ICSE/VHSE) in that year, then his /her normalized mark for the subject, say ‘Z’ equals (T*X)/Y (the value to be corrected to four decimal places.)|

Resolving of the tie while ranking:
(1) For Rank List I and Rank List II: In case of a tie in the total marks computed for ranking, candidates with higher marks obtained in Biology will be placed higher in the ranking. If the tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks obtained in Chemistry will be placed higher in the ranking. If the tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks obtained in Physics will be placed higher in the ranking. If the tie still exists, the percentage of total marks for the qualifying examination and then the percentage of marks in English in the qualifying examination will be considered for breaking the tie. Even after this, if tie remains, the age of the candidate will be taken into account and the older will be placed higher in ranking than the younger. If the tie still persists, the alphabetical order of the names of the candidates in English will be taken into account (Eg. ‘A’ has a higher priority than ‘E’ and so on).
(2) For Rank List III: In case of a tie in the total marks computed for ranking, the candidate with higher marks obtained in Chemistry will be placed higher in the ranking. If the tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks obtained in Physics will be placed higher in the ranking. CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT PROCESS:-
The Centralized Allotment Process for Government Seats in Government Colleges/Self Financing Colleges and Management seats in Government Controlled Self Financing Colleges for which the allotment is made by the director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology will be done through a Single Window System (SWS). The allotment to various colleges and courses - B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (M.L.T), B.Sc Perfusion Technology,B.Sc.(Optometry), B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P, B.C.V.T., B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology, B.Sc. Dialysis Technology will be done by the Director, LBS Centre. The allotments will be strictly based on the options exercised by the candidate, the rank lists prepared by Director LBS Centre, eligible reservation(s) of the candidate, and availability of seats
Procedure for Registering Options : Any candidate, who wishes to register his/her options, should have the ‘Application number’, ‘Registration Number’ and ‘Password’ readily available with him/her. The candidate must also have access to the internet

There will be three regular online allotments and spot allotments.
|After each allotment, the candidate can pay the required fee / additional fee as indicated in the Fee Payment Slip, which will be available for download from the student home page. The fee can be paid using the fee payment slip or by online.|
SPOT ALLOTMENT (SEAT REMAIN VACANT AFTER 3 ROUNDS)-To facilitate filling up of maximum number of Government Seats in Government Colleges/ Self Financing Colleges/Management seats in Government Controlled Self Financing Colleges to which Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology makes allotment, if required, spot allotment(s) will be conducted on the date, time and venue to be notified. The process/ method followed will be spot registration with online allotment. The details regarding the availability of vacant seats will be notified for which spot registration can be done. POST ALLOTMENT ACTIVITIES:-
The Private Nursing College Managements Association of Kerala (PNCMAK) will do separate selection procedure for admission of candidates in the Management Quota to the B.Sc. Remittance of Application Fee and Submission of Application Form There will be three stages for the submission of the Application form and all stages are mandatory. Candidates shall complete all the stages of submission as per the time schedule which will be notified through the website/media.

Nativity: Applicants should have satisfied any of the following conditions:
i. an Indian Citizen of Kerala Origin.
ii. Candidates, who are sons/daughters of Non-Keralite parents and have obtained B.Sc Nursing Degree from any of the Nursing Colleges in Kerala State. But they will not be eligible for Communal/PD reservation benefits.
iii. Candidates who are not of Kerala origin but have been a resident of Kerala for a period of not less than 5 years. But they will not be eligible for communal/PD reservation benefits.
|Candidate should have passed the Bachelor Degree in Nursing of Kerala, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Cochin, Kannur Universities or Kerala University of Health Sciences or regular course of other universities recognized by KUHS. Only candidates who have passed a regular BSc Nursing Degree program with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks will be eligible for admission.|

|Step 1: Registration -This is a onetime online process during which the candidates will get a system generated ‘Application Number’. The candidates should give necessary basic data and create a strong password during the registration process|
Step 2: Fill Application -The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false/incomplete/wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission or claim for reservation under any category. It is obligatory that the candidate fill all the mandatory fields in the application.
Candidates should take utmost care while filling the Online Application. Applicant should ensure that the data provided are correct before proceeding to next step.

Conduct of the Examination-The Entrance Examination for admission to the M.Sc. The nursing course will be a Computer Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted at selected venues and will be notified .

Scheme of examination:-
he Computer Based Test will consist of one paper of 2 hours (120 minutes) duration containing 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choices) questions. Valuation: Each correct response will be awarded 4 (Four) marks. Negative marking will be adopted for incorrect responses. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response and no mark will be given for the question not answered.
Resolution of Tie: If more than one candidate obtains equal marks in the Entrance Examination, a candidate who secures higher correct responses will be placed higher in the ranking. If the tie still continues, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in ranking
Declaration of Results:
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will publish the “Answer Key” of the PG Nursing Entrance Examination,Kerala-2020 on the website of the CEE (www.cee-kerala.org) after the completion of the Entrance Examination
Rank list and Category list:-
Rank list: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will prepare and publish the rank list of General and Service Quota (DME-TCNQ and NSQ, DHS-TSNQ and NSQ, IMS- NSQ) Candidates. The rank list will be published in the website www.ceekerala.org. The validity of the rank list will be up to the cut of the date set by the Indian Nursing Council for admission to the MSc Nursing Course. The records of PG Nursing 2020 will be preserved by the CEE only till the last date announced by the INC/ Government of Kerala
Category list: Provisional Category list including eligible candidates belonging to SC, ST, OEC, SEBC, PD & EWS will be published by the CEE. Candidates are advised to verify the category list published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and satisfy themselves regarding their position in the list, such as inclusion under different categories, eligibility for communal/special reservation, etc. Complaints, if any, in this regard may be sent to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, within a period specified in the publication of the list, for necessary action. A revised Category list will be published after considering the objections/complaints, filed by the candidates. Complaints received thereafter will not be entertained under any circumstances

Nursing course as per the direction of the Honorable Supreme Court of India in its judgments dated31st October 2002 , dated 14th August 2003 and 4th January 2007.

Application for admission to course M.Sc. Nursing course can be registered only online through a single application. The provision for applying online is available at the website www.pncmak.in Submission of more than one application by a candidate will lead to rejection of the candidature
